| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description When Goddess Amaterasu gifted the first emperor of Japan with the sanshu no jungi, or Imperial Regalia, she also passed along a piece of her wisdom in the form of a game called Oshi, or Push. Oshi taught the emperor and his court that influence was power, but to use caution because even the most powerful are vulnerable. From the makers of Tsuro comes the new and exciting game of Oshi: The Game of Influence, which immerses players in an elegant dance of power as they vie to push each other right off the board by strategically sliding their pieces forward, backward, and side-to-side.

| Customer Reviews: Like Chess, but it only takes 30 seconds to learn! January 3, 2007 Andrew Davis (Seatte, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thoroughly enjoy this game. Learning it takes 30 seconds, but the strategy and possibilities take forever to master. Its as complex as the players, 5 year olds could play, but 55 year olds can still find interesting.
Each piece is either 1, 2, or 3 points. The number is both the number of spaces it can move, and the number of pieces it can push (regardless of their point count). A two can move two spaces, and push two pieces. A one can move one space and push one piece. The goal is to push 7 points worth of the opposing players pieces off the board. Simple, right?
False Advertising - Game is Cheaper than it Appears January 8, 2007 Sandra Heierbacher (Brattleboro, Vermont) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you are a game lover and are attracted to the nice-looking board and game pieces as much as the strategy, think twice before purchasing this game. The Oshi board is much cheaper than the one pictured. Its ends are straight and unfinished (not curved and sanded as in the picture), and ours does not even sit flat.
The game pieces are very cheap plastic. Many of ours are crooked and marked up, and one was completely broken because of a poorly made metal insert that is supposed to weigh down the super-cheap plastic pieces.
The game is super-simple, but we didn't try it because we're just going to return it. Very disappointing for the price.
